Hyundai Venue Surpasses 300,000 Units Sales Milestone in India

Hyundai has announced that its Venue has surpassed a sales milestone of 300,000 units in India since its launch in 2019. The model accounted for a sale of 1.08 lac units in 2021 alone.

Since its launch, nearly 18% of the total Venue units sold were equipped with the Bluelink connected car technology. Hyundai sold over 2.50 lac SUVs in 2021, of which the Venue contributed to more than 42% of sales. Furthermore, the sub-four meter SUV had a market share of 16.9% in its segment during the same period.

Hyundai Venue in India is offered with three engine options including a 1.2L naturally aspirated petrol, a 1.5L diesel and a 1.0L turbocharged petrol unit. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual, an iMT, a 7-speed DCT, and a 6-speed torque converter automatic unit. According to information, over 70% of Hyundai Venue’s sales are of models equipped with petrol engines.
