Letin Mengo Mini EV Launched in China, Ready for International Markets
Letin Mengo, a four-door mini EV with a price ranging from just 39,800-59,800 RMB (PKR 11.82 lac – PKR 17.6 lac) has been launched in China. This is an addition to the Lettin Mengo series of hatchbacks which already consist of the Letin Mengo, Letin Mengo Pro and Letin Mengo Max.
Designed by Pininfarina, the Lettin Mengo EV measures 3,622 mm long, 1,607 mm wide and 1,525 mm tall with a wheelbase of 2,442 mm. The dimensions are pretty much comparable to the Suzuki Cultus (Celerio) we have here, which measures 3,600/1,600/1,540 mm with a 2,425 mm wheelbase making Lettin Mengo slightly longer and wider than the Cultus & with a bigger wheelbase, but stands marginally shorter in height.
The design is attractive yet not too outlandish with fascia featuring squarish headlights & a closed grille with Lettin wordmark on it. The side features floating roof design whereas the back again features slim pair of lights connected by a black bar with the name of parent company written on it. The 4-door, 5-seater car also comes in dual-tone exterior color options.
