The New Swift GLX is the Most Equipped Suzuki Ever to be Assembled in Pakistan

Pak Suzuki has just introduced the 4th gen Swift in Pakistan. Available in three variants, all of which are powered by a fuel efficient K-series 1.2L engine (82hp/ 113Nm), the Swift is priced at PKR 24.99 lac for the base GL manual variant, PKR 26.99 lac for GL CVT and PKR 28.99 lac for the top-spec GLX CVT variant.

As with most Suzuki models, the Swift has arrived here almost after 6 years of its global debut, as the world is already expecting a new generation model to be revealed towards the middle of this year. However the equipment & safety features of the top-spec model has made it quite a handsome product, as the Swift GLX CVT has become the most equipped Suzuki ever to be assembled in Pakistan.

The previous 2nd gen Swift that was sold between 2010 and 2021 was the most under-equipped model among locally assembled cars in Pakistan. However the new Swift GLX has got plenty to offer, both in terms of convenience features as well as safety equipment. On the outside there are auto-leveling LED projector headlamps as well as LED DRLs along with fog lamps, the base & mid variants get halogen units without DRLs & no auto-leveling function. The GLX also gets side mirrors with integrated turn signals which are not there in the other variants. Though all variants are equipped with 16-inch alloys.

Inside there is a flat-bottomed multi-function steering wheel with 4-way adjustments, compared to the base & mid-spec versions that offer 2-way adjustments. The GLX also offers hands-free and audio control switches. There is a 9-inch infotainment system that comes standard in all variants, however the GLX befits from automatic air-conditioning with climate control, smart key-less entry, smart trunk opener, push button engine start/ stop as well as cruise control.
