Voyah Dreamer Launched in China- The Fastest Production MPV
Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer Voyah has launched the Dreamer MPV in China which is the second production model in the automaker’s lineup after Free SUV.
Like Voyah Free, the Dreamer MPV is also available in an all-electric version as well as with range-extender technology. The MPV is available in a 7-seat version as well as a 4-seat customized version, with the former priced from RMB 380,000 (PKR 111.2 lac) to RMB 480,000 (PKR 140.4 lac) and the latter starting at RMB 600,000 (PKR 175.5 lac).
Launched at the eve of April 7, Voyah said on Friday that the Dreamer MPV which is touted as the “world’s first large luxury electric MPV” has received more than 2,000 pre-sales orders within just 5 hours.
Built on Voyah’s ESSA EV architecture, the Dreamer MPV measures 5,315mm long, 1,980mm wide and 1,810 mm tall while having a wheelbase of 3,200 mm making it even larger than the latest generation Kia Carnival (length: 5,155mm/ width: 1,995mm/ height: 1,775mm/ wheelbase: 3,090mm) we have here.
Under the hood the Dreamer EV versions utilize twin 160kW motors, one one each axle, which combine to produce 320kW and 620Nm. Equipped with an intelligent electric four-wheel drive system, the Voyah Dreamer can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in as fast as 5.9 seconds, making it “the fastest MPV in the world,” according to the company.
